When you need to protect and preserve your documents, using a pouch laminator is a great idea. These devices are easy to use so you can finish the job quickly. If you have the GBC HeatSeal H425, there are a few things you can do to make using the device even easier. Here are three of them:

  • The H425 needs about 5 minutes to warm up, so make sure you turn it on ahead of time. Once the machine is ready, you will hear a beep and you can begin laminating. If you’re wondering when the laminator will be ready, you can check the LCD countdown clock.
  • If you’re not sure which settings to use, make sure you take advantage of the H425′s thickness and heat chart. It’s located on top of the machine. Once you identify the setting you should use, just rotate the dial to select it.
  • When you use the H425, you might have to deal with a pouch jam. If that happens, press the “reverse” button on top of the device. You will be able to remove your document from the machine so you can start over.
